About KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

KLM is part of the AIR FRANCE-KLM Group, a global leader in air transport, with more than 77.3 million passengers and €25.52 billion in revenues in 2013. Air France KLM is a founding partner of SkyTeam, a worldwide aviation alliance of 19 airlines.

In KLM’s innovation strategy a number of themes play a central role: sustainability, smart mobility and connectivity and security. Within its overall vision, KLM has the ambition to offer the most innovative, reliable and hospitable ground experience in air travel within Europe. We engage in projects and initiatives which support the realisation of our ambition. Examples include our developments of e- and in self-services systems to support passengers and operations over the last 15 years. KLM developed most of these applications and tools internally and is considered a leader in the industry for the last 15 years.
